Folklore Museum of Lefkes
Lefkes
A small museum of island life in the mountain village, with old tools for farming, carpentry and beekeeping, costumes and household things. Usually open in high summer only.
Must see: The old beekeeping and carpentry tools
Cave of Antiparos
Antiparos
Not a museum but a sight to match one: a deep cave of stalactites visited by travellers since antiquity, reached by road from the village of Antiparos. Open daily in the season, with a ticket that also covers the village museum; wear good shoes for the 400-odd steps.
Must see: The great stalagmite and the old graffiti of past visitors
Opening hours change seasonally. Check with each museum before visiting.
