The island's licensed campsite, by the sea on the north coast just east of Therma and about a kilometre from the Fonias path: around a hundred pitches under the trees, hot showers, electricity and a café. Open mid-May to the end of September, no booking needed. Free camping is no longer allowed on the island.

A hotel at Paleopoli, a short walk from the Sanctuary of the Great Gods, overlooking the Thracian Sea with Mount Saos behind. Breakfast is made with the island's olive oil, honey, olives and sourdough bread and produce from the hotel's garden, and the pool bar is open all day.
Apartments and suites, formerly called Eroessa, on a green hillside on the sheltered south side of the island, above the beaches of Makrylies and Lakoma. It runs yoga and Pilates retreats and is a quiet base for the south coast and Pachia Ammos.
